Friends of the Eastham Public Library, Inc.

We will offer Eastham residents and visitors a participatory "LibraryBeats" program for all ages, featuring West African drums and percussion instruments. This event is 100% interactive, providing enough instruments for up to 120 people to use. The primary focus of the songs, rhythms, activities and percussion instruments represent a broad range of cultural traditions, with a focus on various parts of Africa and the African Diaspora.
