Having a late stage creative residency at MANCC allows for intensive collaboration between the lighting/media designer, choreographer, musician, dramaturg, and performers in order to complete and rehearse the dance with final designs as well as configuring and scaling the dance to multiple venue sizes and creating plans to make the set and media design adaptable and tour-worthy is essential. Additionally, we will test the work out in front of an audience.
