Global Arts Live is thrilled to bring Compagnie Hervé KOUBI back once again for the Boston premiere of Odyssey on January 23, 2021 at the Emerson Cutler Majestic. Odyssey marks a departure from Hervé Koubi’s works consisting of all male dancers, and is a partnership with the singer Natacha Atlas. Artistic director and choreographer Hervé Koubi is seeking to "go further beyond the continuity, where femininity exists under all the figures of re-union." The engagement will include one public performance, an informal post-concert Q&A meetup with a local dance educator and historian, and a Heure du Thé, a traditional North African mint tea ceremony led by members of the company.
