Honolulu Museum of Art

Honolulu Museum of Art, in collaboration with Shangri La, a center for Islamic art and culture, will support two presentations of Progress Theatre's production of The Burnin' in Honolulu. The first presentation will be at Shangri La on February 20. The second presentation will be at the Honolulu Museum of Art's Doris Duke Theatre on February 27, both coinciding with Progress Theatre Director Cristal Chanel Truscott's three week artist residency at Shangri La. The Progress Theatre group will also present a demonstration/lecture for the University of Hawaii 's Department of Theatre and Dance, and a demonstration to a group of public school students at the Honolulu Museum of Art.
