In 2018, the ICA will launch a visionary initiative to expand across the Harbor to the Boston Harbor Shipyard and Marina in East Boston. The project takes art beyond the ICA’s walls, building on a long history of art that brings together landscape, history, and contemporary art. The ICA will work with community partners in East Boston on related programming that will be free for all.
Fund for the Arts is providing support over two years to a small cohort or organizations, including the ICA, to continue strengthening the public art sector in the Boston area.
