Intermedia Arts of Minnesota, Inc.

Intermedia Arts will work with artist Rosy Simas on the presentation of the dance project Skin(s). Simas will bring together Intermedia Arts, Native service and arts organizations, Twin Cities Native peoples, and indigenous/POC artists to examine cultural, political, and identity issues that are a part of the daily lives of contemporary Native people. Simas’ approach to art-making and community aligns with Intermedia Arts’ mission by using art as a tool to build understanding among and across multiple communities, perspectives, identities and stories. Intermedia Arts will present a visual arts exhibition, 4 performances, discussion and food sharing as part of the presentations and reception.
