BODYTRAFFIC will perform Snap as part of a mixed rep presentation for Irvine Barclay Theatre’s 2019-20 Contemporary Dance Series. Deeply committed to producing works by distinctive choreographic voices, BODYTRAFFIC pushes boundaries with fierce attitude and an exciting urban edge. SNAP is inspired by the ethnically diverse yet isolating crowds of LA. It urges audiences to “snap out of” social pressures to conform, and to connect with their individuality and people around them. Additionally, BODYTRAFFIC will participate in educational and engagement activities including a master class, talkback/Q&A, off-site lecture/demos, a rehearsal, and a post-performance meet and greet.
