From September 10- September 23, 2018, Jacob’s Pillow will host a two week Pillow Lab Residency for Adam Weinert, during which he will develop a recreation of Ted Shawn’s 1938 composition, Dance of the Ages. This residency will culminate in three performances in the Bakalar Studio at Jacob’s Pillow, mimicking the original production by Ted Shawn using recreated period-costumes, natural lighting, and additional scenic and site-specific elements.

Additionally, in partnership with the City of Pittsfield’s Office of Cultural Development, selections from this work will be presented on September 20, 2018 at the Upstreet Pittsfield's award-winning street festival, 3rd Thursdays.
