Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival will present Wendy Whelan and Maya Beiser in a piece choreographed by Lucinda Childs and scored by Pulitzer-Prize winning composer David Lang during our 2019 summer Festival. The company will give six performances of "THE DAY" in the Doris Duke Theatre accompanied by a host of audience engagement efforts to give context to the work and help new audiences connect with the company. Jacob's Pillow will conduct extensive engagement with the Berkshires community to bring in a diverse audience for this company's run.
