Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival

Jacob’s Pillow will present LaTasha Barnes - The Jazz Continuum Project at the 2021 Festival, August 11-15, with eight performances on the iconic outdoor Inside/Out stage. Barnes and her collaborators will be in residence at the Pillow during the week prior, to prepare for the premiere of The Jazz Continuum. This ensemble work will explore the energies and identities within the shaping and creation of Jazz dance and Lindy Hop. A pre-show talk with a scholar-in-residence will take place before each show and a post-show talk with the artists will take place following one performance.
