The Joyce Theater

The Joyce will promote and present Lucinda Childs Dance Company in a two-week engagement at The Joyce Theater, offering fourteen public performances of two programs--the mixed-bill retrospective “Lucinda Childs: A Portrait (1963–2016),” with “The Sun Roars Into View,” and the evening-length work “Lucinda Childs: Dance.” Performed November 29–December 4, the mixed-bill retrospective program will include “Pastime” (1963), “Radial Courses” (1976), “Interior Drama” (1977), “Concerto” (1993), “Lollapalooza” (2010), and Childs’s new work “The Sun Roars Into View” (2016). A significant marketing and outreach campaign will be implemented to ensure a large and appreciative audience.
