The Junction Dance Festival

Loom Ensemble’s summer touring performance “Tell Me How You Breathe,” centers on the lungs, the organ of grief and interconnectedness, as the site of intersection between climate catastrophe and social justice. This outdoor performance is touring city parks in VT, MA and NY, with participatory ritual elements for collectively envisioning a more just, beautiful future. The show combines a racially diverse cast of professional actors with local community dance ensembles in each state.
The Junction Dance Festival (TJDF) will present this show as a festival "Launch Performance" in White River Junction, VT in July 2023. TJDF offers a platform for New England artists to showcase their work and for the community to come together to experience performances, share ideas, take classes, and connect. Over the course of the festival, Loom will also offer classes and workshops to the local community.
