Rummage Lane is a new dance theater piece that explores object-memory and intergenerational relationships. Through a collection of accumulating chalices, the work crafts a series of scenarios that demand the excavation of the dancers' cognitive and physical relationships to the past through these objects in a deeply sculptural and physical work. The full-length work will run for approximately 40 minutes.
The work had its first showing in a ten-minute iteration performed at the Salem Arts Festival and is now preparing for a work-in-progress performance of the evening-length work at SPACE gallery in Portland, ME on November 19th. As we craft this full-length work we are seeking support to help cover the cost of music licensing fees, sets, props, costumes, and to pay ourselves.
