Keshet Dance & Center for the Arts

Leslie Parker will be in residence at Keshet for 10 days April 24-May 3; the project includes two (2) public movement workshops, (dates TBD), open to Keshet performers, students, and local artists of all ages and experience levels; and one (1) presentation and conversation of Leslie’s work, the conversation will be co-facilitated and moderated by local scholar Dr. Manuel Montoya on May 2. This conversation will facilitate conversation between the artist and the community, delving further into the themes found in the dance work.
This residence is intended as a first visit to connect and engage with community in New Mexico. Future visits will draw from this visit to deepen the impact of Leslie’s work.
