The Kitchen

New York-based writer, director, and designer Andrew Ondrejcak presents his new movement theater piece “Elijah Green,” premiering at The Kitchen with six performances (March 10-12, 17-19, 2016). This meta play, loosely based on August Strindberg’s “A Dream Play” with a set inspired by Peter Brueghel’s genre paintings, follows a divine spirit as it wanders through contemporary life. The creative team comprises choreographer John Jasperse, sound artist Kristin Worrall, a multi-generational international cast—including Eleanor Hullihan, Yuki Kawahisa, Brian Mendes, Edgar Oliver, Tanya Selvaratnam, and Stuart Singer–, and the first theatrical collaboration of the Ethical Fashion Initiative.
