Having presented Teada Productions during my tenure at The Carpetbag Theatre, and collaborating with them as an artist on several projects, Parris-Bailey Arts is excited to see the current work of the company. We have followed the project over the course of its development. The festival offers the opportunity to see multiple works and to see "There is Nothing Micro About Micronesia" within a community of support and an audience that it was designed to serve. PBA has been focused on the unique experiences and culture of island communities and this work challenges us all to rethink tourism and notions of the "Island Paradise" and who it serves.
