Mahaney Arts Center

Middlebury College, Mahaney Center for the Arts will present Black Girl: these engagements are centered on two performances of Camille A. Brown and Dancers; a multimedia work that depicts the complexities of carving out a positive identity as a black female in urban American culture. These performances—a part of the college’s wider celebration of Women’s History Month—will include works by three emerging, female, African-American choreographers, and supplemented by a film showing of “All the Ladies Say” about female break-dancers in the US.
