Mahoosuc Arts Council

The Mahoosuc Art Council is presenting Cordis Music in the 2011-12 Performing Arts Series because the group is redefining chamber music for the modern generation. Cordis Music offers a rich textural mix of insturmentation coupled with multi-media elements that capture young audiences – the Council’s primary target. The Council believes this outside-of-the-box way of approaching an art form which is losing hold in modern times is very important to present in Western Maine to more than 1,000 middle and high school students and community members.
