Maine Celtic Celebration

The Maine Celtic Celebration is a family oriented celebration of the rich Celtic heritage, culture, and hospitality found along the Maine coast. The Celebration runs all weekend July 17 – 19, 2020, with Celtic inspired traditional music, dancing, workshops, games, an artisan village, craft and food vendors. Performers also teach workshops on their instruments or traditional songs. Other weekend events include a 5K Road Race, Celtic breed dog show, cheese roll races, and Scottish heavy games. Admission to the MCC is free, but a $15 donation is suggested. The MCC is organized and run by volunteers. It has won awards in Belfast as the Best Community Event or Best Fair/Festival the past 4 years.
