Maine Inside Out

Maine Inside Out (MIO), Everett, and Space will partner to present a week-long residency of performances and workshops of Everett's "Bliss Body" in Maine the week of September 11-17. The residency will feature three performances of Everett’s new play “Bliss Body.” Space will present two public performances for audience members in the Greater Portland area on September 16-17. Everett will also perform “Bliss Body” at Mountain View Correctional Facility in Charleston, ME, on September 13. The performance at Mountain View will be open to all residents and staff of the facility. The two public performances and prison performance will also include talk backs with the audience following the show. The residency will also feature 2-3 workshops for MIO staff and community artists led by Everett artists/performers. The workshops will focus on sharing different creative processes that Everett uses to create collaborative, original theater and dance.
