MassArt's sparc! the ArtMobile partners with the Makanda Project to bring a live painting experience to the Bromley Heath Housing Development (recently renamed the Mildred C. Smith Apartments) for Bromley Heath Jazz and Art Day in Jamaica Plain, MA. sparc! also sponsors two to three community artists who demonstrate various techniques and viewpoints for the benefit of novice artists. The activity is open to all ages. Supplies including paint, brushes and canvas boards are provided free of charge and can be taken home.

This location is an intersection of many of Boston's culturally and economically diverse populations. Art and music are a dynamic way of building bridges and community.
