Maui Arts & Cultural Center will present “Weave” by Rosy Simas Danse in an evening public performance on November 7, 2019. “Weave” is currently under development and premiers at The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul, Minneapolis January 2019. “Weave” honors individual histories expressed through story, dance, moving image, and sound that is created and performed through a native lens using Western constructs. Engagement includes dance workshops, community conversation and cultural exchange.
