Mayo Street Arts (MSA) will present Ornan Braier’s “Little Love Machine” as part of the 2024 Puppets in Portland festival, which will take place in Maine from September 13-22.

"Little Love Machine" is a one-man performance in the tradition of Charlie Chaplin. This delightful performance is based on Ornan’s Grandfather, an artillerist-turned-toymaker who, he claims, invented Israel’s first washing machine. Steeped in processes of creation and familial storytelling, “Little Love Machine” is an imaginative, award-winning piece that tells the story of a magical machine that serves as a home for a lonely man, inevitably opening a secret door to the world of magic, rhythm, and love.

This is a wordless show for family audiences.
