McCarter Theatre is proud to present Aparna Ramaswamy and the Ragamala Dance Troupe during its 2016-2017 season. Ms. Ramaswamy will perform They Rose at Dawn, a new solo work performed to live music which tells the story of women as the primordial source of all creation. One public performance is scheduled to take place at McCarter’s Berlind Theater, and as a pre-show community event, we will host a local Bharatanatyam dance school to perform at our annual McCarter Block Party.
