The Berkshire Cultural Resource Center hosts DownStreet Art, a downtown revitalization festival each summer that takes place the last Thursday of each month. These DownStreet Art Thursdays use the arts to drive local and visiting audiences to downtown North Adams to help boost the local economy and to support their neighbors. Over the past ten years DownStreet Art has seen a strong correlation between these downtown festivals and driving economic growth in the businesses of downtown North Adams. Nimble Arts be the headlining artists for the kickoff of the DownStreet Art festival this year.
