MDC Live Arts is presenting Basetrack Live as the anchor program of a year-long initiative engaging and reflecting the lives of veterans through arts programming. In partnership with Miami Dade College’s Veterans’ Services department and other veteran organizations in the community, MDC Live Arts will build audience among Miami’s significant population of veterans for the show and related public programs. The goal of this project is to provide context and give voice to Miami’s resident veteran community who otherwise may not be heard or understood by the general public, to whom military life is generally invisible.
