In response to the present national climate of xenophobia, Store-d Stories lifts up the journeys and celebrates the resilience of four Hyde, Jackson & Canary Square immigrant business owners. Melissa Nussbaum Freeman will create with each of these four shop keepers an in-store theatrical space and event to which the public is welcomed in to share personal stories, see these stories dramatized by her troupe, Red Sage Stories, and to enjoy refreshments. Using these shared stories as source material, Melissa will devise a scripted play that will be performed by Red Sage Stories at two public spaces: Mozart St Park (during Teatro en el Parque events) and the Jackson Square Mural in Boston.
