Meredith Bove

In May of 2018, Meredith Bove and Lailye Weidman will be in residence at A.P.E. Gallery in downtown Northampton. For two weeks, they will be practicing "co-dramaturgy," a collaborative process that focuses on using the artists' skills as dancers, teachers, choreographers, and writers to give dramaturgical insight into each artist's solo dance-making practice. Bove and Weidman will use two solos as material for this process: "Ghost Body" (Bove, 2016) and "Showman" (Weidman, 2016). Bove and Weidman will use the gallery setting as a container to frame ephemera (writing, images, video and conversation) from their working processes, as well as present public workshops and performances.
