Middlebury College Dance Program

Yaa Samar! Dance Theatre (YSDT) will premiere and tour a new evening-length dance theatre piece entitled The Keeper, which examines what it means to belong to a place, and explore the connections human beings have with land, in Vermont and Massachusetts in the fall of 2019, alongside community engagement programming. Middlebury College is partnering with YSDT to provide Dance Department students and the broader New England community an opportunity to engage with a professional dance-theatre company whose core vision is to use cross-cultural collaborations and live performance to stimulate conversations about socio-political realities.
