Mixed Blood will present the premiere of THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HOME…MAYBE, created by Mark-n-Sparks. The production will begin rehearsals on October 4th, 2021 and will open on October 29th, 2021. Rehearsals will take place at Mixed Blood in Minneapolis before moving to the performance location, Springboard for the Arts, in St. Paul.

With sets and costumes by Nephelie Andonyadis, media design by Jake Pinholster, and music by Victor Zupanc, the play’s structure mirrors a process for policy change: begin with a look at root causes; examine present day needs; and then, with that information, imagine the change you want to see.

Over the course of the play’s development, Mark-n-Sparks engaged with local and national housing advocates and activists. During the run, Mixed Blood will host an opening night reception for local partners and a teach-in to provide community members with more in-depth conversation around housing types and advocacy efforts.
