Jessica Roseman’s Nourish Project creates meaning in our pandemic world without live dance, builds new communities, engages in racial justice, and fosters better mental and physical health. Nourish Project will center the experiences of Black mothers through interviews, movement workshops, and residencies. In order to leverage the reach of the resources Nourish Project has received this year, Jessica is creating a film essay to unify the different aspects of Nourish Project. We will present her film essay in three communities (Malden, MA; Biddeford, ME; and virtually) to communities who are lower income and not traditionally served by live dance performances.
