The Soggy Po Boys bring their Honoring a Tradition: Kid Ory show to Mountain Top Music Center in Conway, NH [in partnership with The Dance Hall in Kittery, ME and The Hill Arts (Portland ME)]. The Honoring a Tradition series, offered by the band, is specifically designed to honor the unique New Orleans musical traditions and the individuals - often progenitors - who contributed to each. The Kid Ory installment of the series looks at the life and music of New Orleans trombonist Edward “Kid” Ory and integrates biographical story-telling complete with A/V elements, historical context, and demonstration throughout the performance.
