Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. will presnt Alonzo King LINES Ballet. Collaborating with noted composers, musicians, and visual artists from around the world, Mr. King creates works that draw on a diverse set of deeply rooted cultural traditions and infuses classical ballet with new expressive potential. "Biophony", his latest collaboration with artist Bernie Krause and composer Richard Blackford, uses a collection of soundscapes from several rare habitats, marine and terrestrial, ranging from the Equator to the Arctic to showcase LINES dancers drifting, whirling, crawling and flying through a specular performance.
