Needham High School - Fine and Performing Arts Department

As part of Needham's 300th anniversary celebration, the Needham High School Bands will commission composer Roger Cichy to create an original work to be premiered by the groups. The project will include initial meetings with the students before the composing begins, workshops with the students as the piece progess, a three day residency by the composer for final rehearsal and workshops with student/community musicians, and a lecture and panel discussion with the community. All of this activity culminates in the world premiere concert on February 11th.
