NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley in Woonsocket, RI is thrilled to collaborate with the Jazz and Roots Festival in Springfield, MA and Next Stage in Putney, VT to present Rev. Sekou and the Freedom Fighters to headline the Levitt AMP Woonsocket Music Series and provide an educational workshop as part of continued race equity work in the City. The series is funded by the Levitt Foundation and aims to revitalize abandoned space, increase pride in place, build community and support the local economy through the power of free, live music. Through his performance and educational session, Rev. Sekou's racial justice inspired art will reach over 700 Rhode Islanders.
