NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley, in partnership with the City of Woonsocket, the Downtown Woonsocket Collaborative, and Gerri's Bluffin' Boutique seek to present Sidy Maiga on Friday, July 23 as part of the annual Levitt AMP Woonsocket Music Series. The series is funded by the Levitt Foundation and aims to revitalize abandoned space, increase pride in place, build community and support the local economy through the power of free, live music. Each week of the series is a celebration of local diversity through incredibly talented local, regional, and national musicians. Sidy Maiga and AfriManding will be a lively addition to an eclectic lineup, exposing 600 Rhode Islanders to his art.
