New York Live Arts will present the New York premiere of Emily Johnson's five-part work SHORE April 6-12, 2015. SHORE is composed of multiple evening-length movements exploring how performance, and most specifically dance, communicates and engages with the world. Over the course of a week, Johnson will engage New York Live Arts, audiences, diverse communities and strategic partners around New York City in acts of volunteerism, parading, storytelling, performing and feasting that compose the multi-faceted performance experience that is SHORE.
