Next Stage Arts Project

Supporting the work of artists to foster community engagement and live events is at the core of the Next Stage Arts Project mission. The Covid-19 pandemic is bringing new opportunities for audience engagement across the diverse set of arts-centered disciplines embraced by the Next Stage community including music, spoken word, and independent film. Accordingly, Next Stage is developing dynamic, online events and hosting live events in unusual outdoor settings. The NEAR grant will support our staff and contracted artists as we develop new platforms for engagement and continue to invest in our ongoing commitment to strengthening the community through diverse, artistic endeavors.
