This funding will provide salary support for bringing back a full-time artistic director position. In past years, having one person as producing executive director handling both artistic and executive director responsibilities has led to burnout and limits to sustainably grow the organization. Splitting the responsibilities into two positions, Executive Director and Artistic Director, will allow for reasonable workload and stronger programming and development activities. The position has been partially funded by individual donors. The grant will help as change capital to support the position in the short-term as we grow to build for the long-term sustainability of the returning role.
