On Saturday, March 9, 2019, CONTRA-TIEMPO will return to the Ordway and perform joyUS justUS, a new piece we were thrilled to co-commission. Prior to the performance, Ana Maria Alvarez, Artistic Director of CONTRA-TIEMPO will participate in a question and answer session with patrons, and immediately following the show the company will invite the audience onto the stage to dance with them during a sabor session. CONTRA-TIEMPO will perform in four school matinees during the week prior to the public engagement, and we are bringing the artists into town for an advance visit, and intend to connect them with organizations and communities with whom they have previously built relationships.
