Paloma McGregor | Angela's Pulse

Lai-Lin Robinson, Creative Producer, joins Paloma McGregor on a visit to one of her creative home bases, Virginia Commonwealth University. Since 2017, Paloma has taught master classes, led creative processes and guided community-building initiatives at VCU Dance.

Building on this long standing relationship, this planning trip was an opportunity to re-engage with the Richmond Community. We met with community leaders and members, local artists and organizations, VCU Dance students and faculty to discuss possible collaboration on a new community-specific iteration of Building a Better Fishtrap/A’we deh ya (All of us are here) that will nurture both new and existing relationships.
