We are a team rooted in indigenous communities in Central and South America, bringing with us the stories, struggles, and experiences of our homelands to North America. Paulina Fuenzalida Guzmán is a Chilean textile whose artistic vision is deeply connected to the perseverance of communities that have overcome environmental hardships through effort and creativity. Gerardo Beltrán is a journalist and videographer who has worked across audiovisual expressions to highlight the vibrant contributions of the Hispanic community in the city. Rolando Oliva, a former Salvadoran social activist, is a state leader of the Cosecha Movement and was instrumental in securing the right to a driver’s license for immigrant community members in Massachusetts. We are united by a shared commitment to social justice and to empowering the Hispanic community in our city. Our intention is to imagine and build spaces—both physical and virtual—where our stories, cultures, and efforts can thrive together.
