Performing Arts of Northeast Connecticut

Performing Arts of Northeast CT will present 4 performances over two days of the Boston Lyric Opera's abridged version of Donizetti's Daughter of the Regiment to approximately 3200 children. To prepare the children, teachers will receive a multi- media, interactive study guide. Prior to the performances,artists will travel to 26 schools to engage children in small, interactive workshops to introduce them to the art form, the music, the story, and the characters. All is provided FREE of charge to schoolchildren,primarily in underserved areas.
