PICA

My plan is to see Straight White Men at the Public Theater for the first time. I'm strongly interested in presenting this project as part of TBA Festival in 2015, but need to evaluate the project in terms of artistic match, understand the production scale, and begin the planning of contextualization if the project advances. In addition, I plan to meet with the artist in person to better understand the artist's intention and further the conversation about how the project would work in a Portland context both artistically as well as technically. To date, I've only been in conversation with the company's producer, so this one on one opportunity to ask questions of the artist is essential.
