Writer/director/performer Ain Gordon, composer/writer/performer Josh Quillen, dramaturge Talvin Wilks & light designer Jennifer Tipton continue their collab with a new work conjuring two real-life couples of Dover OH: Jerry & Sue Quillen + “Mooney” & Frida Warther. “Relics…” details Jerry’s 3-year journey with ALS while Sue battled to keep him at home - alongside Mooney’s regionally legendary carved replicas virtually obscuring Frida’s vast “button art” murals. Via text & song, “Relics…” weaves a sonic portrait of 2 couples separated by 3 miles & 36 years. Partners: Krannert Ctr (IL), Ariz Arts Live (AZ), Abrons Arts Ctr (NY), & Wexner Ctr (OH)
