Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Association

Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Association would like Piti Theatre Company to adapt their "Your Town, The Musical" program to Deerfield, MA and surrounding communities. PVMA has a long standing interest and expertise in local history and would like to leverage Piti's artistry to engage new audiences. The residency combines a period of script development, two months of rehearsal with local young people and culminates in a public performance that includes a panel discussion with playwright Jonathan Mirin and local historians. Piti has created original musicals inspired by local history with great success since 2012 and has collaborated with PVMA on the Great Greenfield DinoFest since 2017.
