Puppet Showplace Theater

In September 2018, Puppet Showplace Theater (Brookline/Boston, MA), Sandglass Theater (Putney/Brattleboro, Vermont), and Flock Theatre (New London, Connecticut) will present "Meet Fred," an original production by Hijinx Theatre of Wales that explores and brilliantly satirizes the social and bureaucratic obstacles faced by people with disabilities. Hijinx is a global leader in training, employing, and elevating the unique perspectives of artists with learning disabilities. In addition to six planned performances across three states, additional activities will engage arts educators and cultural leaders in each region to learn Hijinx's methodologies, network, and promote inclusive practices.
