For our season opener this year, we have booked "Little Love Machine" is a one-man performance in the tradition of Charlie Chaplin. This delightful performance is based on Ornan’s Grandfather, an artillerist-turned-toymaker who, he claims, invented Israel’s first washing machine. Steeped in processes of creation and familial storytelling, “Little Love Machine” is an imaginative, award-winning piece that tells the story of a magical machine that serves as a home for a lonely man, inevitably opening a secret door to the world of magic, rhythm and love. This is a wordless show for family audiences, which we will present along with a workshop for all ages.

Because September and October are part of our slower season, we look forward to offering Little Love Machine in this season opener slot, and trust that it will result in enthusiasm and press attention that will support our entire 50th season of exceptional puppetry.
