We plan to conduct and record interviews, meet-ups, and community conversations with people prior to the premiere and in each city and town of our tour of The McCarthy Era about their experiences, memories, and impressions of the era in American history during which McCarthyism spread. Using audio and video recordings, we plan to accumulate these interviews as the piece tours and create a public campaign in which audiences can engage with our work and each other from across the country.
