Rangeley Friends of the Arts (RFA)

Rangeley Friends of the Arts (RFA) presents "International Night" again, providing residents of the remote, insular region of the Western Mountains of Maine with cross cultural communication and appreciation through music and dance. Burlington Taiko will perform at Rangeley's Stephen A. Bean airport hangar. The family-friendly venue is accessible and conducive to having an intimate reception and informal Q & As between performers and audience. Year-round residents participate by involving students through their artistic interpretations of Taiko and Japanese culture and with free samples of Japanese cuisine. For many, this event is their only exposure to other art and cultures.
